The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Tree Climber to join our production team. This role is responsible for performing tree pruning and removals using climbing and rigging techniques while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork.
This is a physically demanding and safety-critical position. The right candidate is confident working at height, understands proper rigging, and takes pride in executing clean, controlled work.
What You’ll Do
- Perform tree pruning and removals using climbing systems (rope & saddle)
- Set up and execute rigging systems for safe and controlled lowering
- Work closely with ground crew to complete jobs efficiently
- Inspect trees, plan cuts, and execute work safely
- Maintain awareness of drop zones and job site safety
- Follow company safety standards and industry best practices
- Support crew operations as needed on the ground
What We’re Looking For
- Prior tree climbing experience required; must be able to demonstrate climbing and rigging skills
- Strong knowledge of climbing, rigging, and safe work practices
- Ability to work at heights and in physically demanding conditions
- Team-oriented with clear communication skills
- Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred; ability to communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking crews required

Este es un trabajo físicamente exigente y de alto riesgo. El candidato ideal se siente cómodo trabajando en altura, entiende el uso correcto de sistemas de cuerdas y se enorgullece de hacer un trabajo limpio, controlado y seguro.
Responsabilidades
- Realizar poda y remoción de árboles utilizando sistemas de trepa (cuerda y arnés)
- Preparar y ejecutar sistemas de rigging para bajadas controladas y seguras
- Trabajar en equipo con el personal de tierra para completar los trabajos de manera eficiente
- Evaluar árboles, planificar cortes y ejecutar el trabajo de forma segura
- Mantener control de las zonas de caída y la seguridad en el área de trabajo
- Seguir las normas de seguridad de la empresa y las mejores prácticas de la industria
- Apoyar al equipo en tareas de tierra cuando sea necesario
Lo Que Buscamos
- Experiencia previa como trepador de árboles requerida; debe poder demostrar habilidades de trepa y rigging
- Conocimiento sólido de técnicas de trepa, rigging y prácticas de seguridad
- Capacidad para trabajar en altura y en condiciones físicas exigentes
- Buena actitud de trabajo en equipo y comunicación clara
- Persona responsable, enfocada en la seguridad y con atención al detalle
- Capacidad para comunicarse efectivamente con equipos de trabajo de habla hispana; ser bilingüe (inglés/español) es una ventaja

Compensation: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
