Join Carter's Child Care and Learning Center as a Lead Childcare Teacher or Assistant Childcare Teacher, where you will inspire young minds in a nurturing environment. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children.
  • Supervise and mentor assistant teachers, providing guidance and support.
  • Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and communicate with parents.
  • Facilitate age-appropriate activities that encourage exploration and learning.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
  • Attend professional development workshops to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements:
  • CURRENTLY hold a DELAWARE STATE ISSUED TECE1 & TECE 2, CDA or DEGREE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION. 
  • Previous experience working with young children in a childcare setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and early learning standards.
  • CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Passion for nurturing and educating young children.
  • Positive attitude and a commitment to creating a supportive learning atmosphere.
