About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in heavy equipment, including excavators, loaders, and backhoes.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and recommendations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in heavy equipment technology.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in diesel mechanics or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a heavy equipment technician.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
