Role Description:

The MJ Treatment is a growing spa focused on delivering high-quality wellness and massage services in a professional and relaxing environment.

We are currently seeking an Experienced Massage Therapist to join our team. This position is based in a professional spa environment focused on wellness, relaxation, and client care.

Responsibilities:

Perform massage therapy services.
Conduct client consultations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout treatment areas.
Deliver excellent client care and professionalism.
Complete treatment notes and service documentation.

Requirements:

Valid New York State Massage Therapy License or Permit.
Ability to obtain or maintain liability malpractice insurance.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work in a professional spa environment.

Preferred Skills:

Swedish massage.
Deep tissue massage.
Hot stone massage.
Cupping therapy.
Prenatal massage.
Sports massage.
Reiki is a plus.

Compensation:

Compensation is based on services performed and paid per session.

Work Structure:

This opportunity is structured as an independent contractor (1099) relationship. Contractors maintain control over their schedules and are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, and related business expenses.

Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
