Multi‑Trade Contractor (Drywall, Paint, Flooring) – $26–$34/hr – 1099
South Suburbs of Chicago & Champaign County
Full‑Time or Part‑Time (30+ hrs/week)
We’re looking for an experienced multi‑trade subcontractor to handle fast‑paced residential and commercial turnover work. Must be skilled in drywall repair/finishing, interior painting, laminate flooring installation, and light carpentry/framing.
Work Includes
• Drywall patching, mudding, sanding
• Interior painting & touch‑ups
• Laminate/VPL flooring installs & repairs
• Trim, baseboards, light framing
• Punch‑list and general maintenance tasks
Requirements
• 3+ years construction or remodeling experience
• Own tools, transportation, and ability to work independently
• Reliable, efficient, and detail‑oriented
• General liability insurance preferred
Compensation
• $26–$34/hr depending on experience and speed
• Weekly or per‑project payouts
• Consistent work available
