Job Summary:
As a Pet Care Technician at K9 Resorts of Madison, you will be at the heart of our commitment to cleanliness and compassionate care. This role involves spending ample time with our furry friends, ensuring their well-being and happiness. If you love dogs and don’t mind getting your hands dirty, this is the perfect job for you. Daily tasks include cleaning accommodations, giving baths, and managing doggie daycare groups. Strong communication and observation skills, along with a keen eye for detail and reliability/punctuality, are essential.

Pet Care Technician Responsibilities:
- Ensure all doggy guests are cared for in compliance with company standards including monitoring groups at play, cleaning room accommodations, cleaning of the facility as a whole, bathing dogs, taking dogs out for personal play times, and more!
- Oversee the health and well-being of dogs in our care.
- Maintain the sanitation of all accommodations and indoor/outdoor areas.
- Perform body checks of dogs to identify pre-existing conditions and/or injuries.
- Perform additional tasks as requested by management, including:
- Running dogs from daycare or boarding to customers.
- Providing personal playtimes for dogs.
- Taking dogs outside for elimination breaks.
Hours of Operation:
Monday-Friday 6am-7:15pm, Saturday & Sunday 7am-6:30pm

Pet Care Technician Qualifications:
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs.
- Work on your feet for long periods of time.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some weekend and holiday hours are required.
- Must be able to change tasks/be flexible in accordance with day-to-day needs.
- A “Can-Do” attitude with an outgoing, positive, and enthusiastic personality.
- Demonstrate a love for dogs and awareness of dog body language.

Compensation: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour based on experience
Regarding Dress Code: we allow visible tattoos that are not offensive, but we do not allow unnatural colors of hair (ex: blue, pink, etc) or facial piercings except for nose studs. Other facial piercings will need to be covered to avoid risk of injury.
