- Clear trash and debris before mowing
- Weed sidewalks, curbs, and flower beds
- Remove dead flower heads and tree suckers
- Assist with loading/unloading equipment at job sites
- Follow all instructions from the Crew Leader and report any property damage
- Know who the client is—and treat their property with care
- Always wear the approved uniform and maintain a professional appearance
- Be courteous and respectful if approached by a customer
- Learn mowing patterns and rotate weekly for turf health
- Use proper tools for every task
- Understand job expectations and strive to exceed them
- Train and get certified on various equipment (e.g., mowers, blowers, edgers, trimmers)
- Know proper fuel types and loading procedures
- Handle tools and equipment safely and responsibly
- Complete company orientation and safety training before beginning work
- Wear required PPE at all times
- Participate in daily safety/tailgate meetings
- Promote and maintain a safe jobsite for you and your team
