About the Role:
Join Oasis Home Care LLC as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) and make a difference in the lives of those we serve in Spartanburg, SC. We are looking for compassionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our clients in a warm and friendly environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Administer medication and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Help clients with mobility and physical exercises to promote independence.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients in their homes.
- Document and report changes in client conditions to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with family members and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance caregiving skills.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a PCA or HHA preferred.
- Experience in personal care or a related field is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
