About the Role:
Join Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center as a Liaison for Street Psychiatry, where you will play a vital role in connecting vulnerable populations with essential mental health services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the Chicago community by bridging the gap between individuals experiencing homelessness and psychiatric care.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with local shelters, hospitals, and community organizations to facilitate access to psychiatric services.
- Document interactions and progress in compliance with organizational policies.
- Participate in outreach events to promote mental health awareness and services.
- Serves as a liaison between groups departments, or organizations to promote efficiency.
- Serves as the primary point of contact between organizations.
- Coordinates scheduling and participant involvement for activities, ensuring alignment with grant goals, budget, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously & meet deadlines.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to client advocacy.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for outreach activities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Compensation: $35.00 per hour
