Job Summary:
Country Inn & Suites in Bensenville is looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team! The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and comfortable guest rooms and common areas to ensure a pleasant stay for all guests. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail, and enjoys creating a welcoming environment.
Country Inn & Suites in Bensenville is looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeepers to join our team! The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, and comfortable guest rooms and common areas to ensure a pleasant stay for all guests. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has an eye for detail, and enjoys creating a welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
- Sanitize and clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, tubs, and mirrors.
- Replace linens and towels according to hotel standards.
- Restock housekeeping carts with necessary supplies and ensure they are organized.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or lost items to the Manager.
- Ensure all assigned rooms meet hotel cleanliness and quality standards before guest check-in.
- Maintain cleanliness in hallways, common areas, and storage rooms.
- Follow safety procedures, including handling chemicals properly.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service if guests have requests.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel setting is preferred but not required.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
