A Pittsburgh based property management company is seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and a major capital improvement project for a historic, luxury residential property in the East End. This role collaborates closely with an engaged Board, long-serving staff, and external development partners to ensure operational excellence and high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Resident Relations
- Serve as primary liaison between residents, the Board, staff, and management.
- Manage resident communications (newsletters, notices, website) and address inquiries/concerns promptly.
- Maintain comprehensive hardcopy and digital files for all residences and corporate records.
- Enforce community rules and resident construction guidelines; take immediate action in emergencies.
Staff & Board Governance
- Supervise, schedule, and support on-site staff to ensure seamless service.
- Support the Board of Directors with monthly reporting, tracking, and governance needs.
Financial & Project Oversight
- Assist with financial tracking, delinquency management, and updating monthly expense forecasts.
- Oversee key/access management and coordinate large-scale capital investment projects.
Compliance & Vendor Coordination
- Collaborate with legal, financial, insurance, and government partners to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Assist residents with unit sales documentation in coordination with legal counsel.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in property or hospitality management (co-op, condo, or luxury property experience preferred).
- Leadership: Proven track record managing staff and working effectively with executive boards.
- Capital Projects: Experience coordinating large-scale renovations and executing project plans.
- Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Compensation & Details
- Benefits: Comprehensive health (medical, dental, vision), PTO, and a stable Monday–Friday schedule.
- Location: On-site / In-person (Pittsburgh, PA).
Compensation: $70,000.00 per year
