Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient scheduling and follow-up appointments.
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation in electronic health systems.
- Communicate with patients to gather medical history and provide information on services.
- Perform administrative tasks such as billing, coding, and insurance verification.
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and healthcare practices.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
- Proven experience in a medical assistant role or similar healthcare position.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR).
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and healthcare software applications.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Compensation: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
