About the Role:
Join the Primrose School of Mt. Juliet as a Summer Camp Teacher, where you can inspire and nurture young minds in a fun, engaging environment! This is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference in children's lives while enjoying the summer season.
What will you do?
- Implement creative and educational camp activities for children ages 3-5.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all campers.
- Encourage social, emotional, and physical development through hands-on learning experiences.
- Supervise daily activities and ensure the well-being of all participants.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding camper progress and activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to create a cohesive and enjoyable camp experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom and outdoor space.
- Training sessions to enhance teaching skills.
- Have fun with the children.
What are looking for?
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in education or child development preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children in a camp or educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Passion for early childhood education and a positive attitude.
- Background check required prior to employment.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for the entire summer camp session.
