About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process tissue specimens for Mohs micrographic surgery.
- Perform embedding, sectioning, and staining of tissue samples.
- Maintain accurate records of specimens and laboratory procedures.
- Collaborate with dermatologists to ensure timely and accurate results.
- Adhere to safety and quality control protocols in the laboratory.
- Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and patient-centered care.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Histotechnician or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in histology or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Mohs surgery techniques and protocols.
- Proficient in laboratory safety and quality control standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
