Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of Polysomnographic Technician experience within specialty
BLS – AHA required
75 Mile Radius Rule applies
Locals accepted – local pay package will apply
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required

Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program OR related allied health training
Completion/enrolment in A-STEP Online Self Study Modules, CAAHEP accredited sleep technology program, END program, or respiratory therapy add-on track for sleep technology
New York State licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner with NBRC registration OR New York State licensure as a Polysomnographic Technologist
Minimum 2 years of related patient care or laboratory experience
Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program OR related allied health training

Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Sleep Disorders Center Technical Director, the technologist will conduct sleep studies and safely monitor clinical patients with a variety of sleep/wake disorders including sleep apnea, narcolepsy, insomnia, night terrors, and nocturnal myoclonus.
