About the Role:

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement dynamic reading and language arts curricula for Grades 1-6.
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet individual learning needs.
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation.
- Incorporate diverse teaching methods and resources to enhance literacy skills.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-curricular literacy initiatives.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and classroom activities.

- Foster a love for reading through creative and engaging activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; Master’s preferred.
- New Jersey teaching certification in Elementary Education or Reading Specialist.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in elementary education.
- Strong understanding of literacy development and instructional strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with young learners and fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and engage with families.
- Creative, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
