About the Role:
Join the dynamic team at Micheli & Shel LLC as a Barista / Cashier in the heart of New York, NY! We are looking for passionate individuals who love coffee and customer service to create memorable experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and food items.
- Manage cash register and process customer transactions accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace and dining area.
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Engage with customers to enhance their experience and build loyalty.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista or cashier preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Positive attitude and a passion for customer service.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent; barista certification is a plus.
