Full-Time Summer Support Teacher

Primrose School of Leesburg at Potomac Station
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Primrose Preschool is seeking a reliable, energetic, and caring Full-Time Summer Support Teacher to join our team for the summer season. This role supports classrooms across multiple age groups and helps create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children.

Responsibilities

  •  Assist lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines 
  •  Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play 
  •  Support mealtimes, nap times, and transitions throughout the day 
  •  Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment 
  •  Engage children in educational and age-appropriate activities 
  •  Provide positive guidance and encouragement to students 
  •  Help ensure all licensing and safety procedures are followed 
  •  Communicate professionally with staff and families as needed 
Qualifications

  •  Experience working with young children preferred 
  •  Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills 
  •  Dependable, punctual, and flexible 
  •  Ability to actively engage with children throughout the day 
  •  Must pass required background checks and meet state childcare requirements 
Schedule

  •  Full-time summer position 
  •  Monday through Friday 
  •  8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
