Position Overview
Maricopa County is seeking PC/LAN Technicians to support a large-scale Desktop Refresh Program for the Judicial Branch. This role involves deploying and replacing desktop/laptop systems, providing onsite technical support, and ensuring smooth rollout of IT equipment across multiple facilities.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy and configure desktop and laptop computers 
  • Perform system imaging, workstation setup, and hardware replacement 
  • Install peripherals including monitors, docking stations, and printers 
  • Provide onsite technical support to end users during deployment activities 
  • Perform basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues 
  • Track inventory and update ticketing and asset management systems 
  • Follow deployment schedules and ensure timely rollout completion 
  • Maintain accurate documentation of completed work 
  • Travel to various Judicial Branch locations within Maricopa County 
 
Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in: 
    • Desktop support 
    • Computer deployment 
    • Technical support or related IT field 
  • Experience deploying and configuring Windows desktop and laptop systems 
  • Basic knowledge of imaging and deployment processes 
  • Experience setting up peripherals and workstation components 
  • Strong customer service and communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment 
  • Reliable transportation for travel within the county 
 
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in large-scale PC refresh or deployment projects 
  • Experience with tools such as: 
    • SCCM, MDT, Intune, Autopilot 
  • Experience in enterprise, government, or public sector environments 
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and basic networking troubleshooting 
  • Experience with asset tracking and inventory systems
