Join KINDERNEST MONTESSORI SCHOOL as a Montessori Lead Teacher for children aged 3-6 in the vibrant community of Newtonhighland, MA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds through the Montessori method while fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans that align with Montessori principles.
- Guide and support children in their learning and personal development.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and classroom activities.
- Facilitate group activities that promote social skills and teamwork.
- Observe and assess student performance to tailor educational approaches.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and teaching strategies.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current in Montessori education.
Requirements:
- Montessori Early Childhood credential (AMI, AMS, or MACTE strongly preferred) EEC
- Teacher or Lead Teacher certification (or in progress)
- Experience working with ages 3 to 6 and a calm, positive, professional teaching presence
