Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
- Assist pharmacists in managing medication therapy and patient consultations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and medication inventory.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and nursing staff.
- Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Participate in continuous education and training programs.
- Support the pharmacy team in daily operations and workflow.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy technician certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in long-term care.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and medication management.
- Valid pharmacy technician license in Washington state.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
