We are seeking a Baker to join the team at our busy bakery! In this role, you will prepare a variety of breads and pastries. You will be responsible for opening the bakery in the morning and prepping for the day ahead. The ideal candidate has previous bakery experience and a passion for creating delicious breads and pastries. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Open the bakery and prepare for the day ahead
- Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas
- Bake a variety of breads, cakes, and pastries
- Decorate cakes
- Prepare custom orders
- Track, maintain, and order inventory as necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to use professional-grade kitchen appliances and equipment
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Previous experience decorating cakes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Team player
- Available for early morning shifts
Compensation: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
