About the Role:
Join our vibrant team at Charlotte Child Development Center as a Preschool and Full-Time Floater! This exciting opportunity allows you to make a positive impact on young children's lives while working in a nurturing and engaging environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily classroom activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
- Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans.
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, and outdoor activities.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
- Adapt to various classroom settings and age groups as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of classrooms and play areas.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Promote positive behavior and conflict resolution among children.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in early childhood education preferred.
- Previous experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.
- CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing needs.
- Passion for early childhood education and child development.
- Background check clearance and references required.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
