Primrose School of New Providence is growing, and we're looking for passionate early childhood educators to grow with us! As we continue to expand our enrollment and classrooms, we are currently hiring for both a Lead Preschool Teacher and a Lead Pre-Kindergarten Teacher. If you're dedicated to creating meaningful learning experiences and helping young children build a strong foundation for success, we'd love to meet you.

Position: Lead Preschool and Pre-K Teacher

💲 Pay Range: $18–$21 per hour, based on education and experience

As a Lead Teacher, you'll create a nurturing and engaging classroom where children develop confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning. You'll work alongside a supportive leadership team and utilize Primrose's exclusive Balanced Learning® curriculum to provide exceptional educational experiences every day.

Responsibilities

  •  Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children 
  •  Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities 
  •  Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development 
  •  Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom 
  •  Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members 
  •  Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance techniques 
  •  Participate in ongoing training and professional development 
Qualifications

  •  Previous experience in a preschool or early childhood education setting required
  •  Strong classroom management and communication skills 
  •  Passion for educating and nurturing young children 
  •  Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment 
  •  CDA, Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Early Childhood coursework preferred

Salary: $18–$21 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (No Nights or Weekends)
Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
