Hampton Inn & Suites is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Unit Inspector to ensure guest rooms, suites, and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction. The Unit Inspector is responsible for inspecting rooms after they have been serviced, identifying deficiencies, and working closely with the housekeeping team to maintain brand standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inspect guest rooms and suites after housekeeping services are completed.
Ensure all rooms meet Hampton Inn & Suites and Hilton brand cleanliness standards.
Verify that linens, amenities, and supplies are properly stocked and arranged.
Identify and report maintenance issues, safety concerns, and room deficiencies.
Communicate inspection findings to housekeeping staff and management.
Conduct re-inspections to ensure corrective actions have been completed.
Assist in training and coaching housekeeping team members on quality standards and procedures.
Monitor public areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are maintained.
Maintain inspection records and communicate daily room status updates.
Support the housekeeping department in achieving guest satisfaction goals.
Qualifications
Previous hotel housekeeping, room attendant, or inspection experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds throughout the shift.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
