About the Role:
Join Grewal Orthopedic and Spine Care as an Internal Medicine Physician, where you'll focus on providing exceptional outpatient care in a supportive environment. Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive outpatient care to adult patients, focusing on preventive health and chronic disease management.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care for patients.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) for accurate documentation and patient management.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Stay current with medical advancements and best practices in internal medicine.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine is required.
- Valid New York State medical license and DEA registration.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in outpatient internal medicine preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Proficient in using EHR systems for patient documentation and management.
