Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Neurodiagnostic Technologist specializing in Videonystagmography (VNG) to join our dedicated neurology team in Glendale, Queens. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic testing to evaluate patients experiencing dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive VNG and ENG assessments.
- Perform caloric testing and positional evaluations.
- Prepare patients by explaining procedures clearly.
- Calibrate and maintain specialized testing equipment.
- Document accurate patient histories and results.
- Recognize and respond to patient distress.
- Collaborate with physicians on complex cases.
- Maintain clean and sanitized testing environments.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic program.
- ABRET certification (R. EEG T. or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum 1–2 years of specialized VNG experience.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
- Strong knowledge of vestibular anatomy.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
Compensation: $32.00 per hour
