About the Role:
Join Orlando Surgical Suite as a Scrub Technician and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care. We are seeking a dedicated professional to support our medical team in a dynamic and innovative environment based in Orlando, FL.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and medical staff with surgical instruments and supplies.
- Ensure all surgical tools are properly sterilized and organized.
- Monitor patient vitals and assist with patient positioning during procedures.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety.
- Document and track surgical supplies and equipment usage.
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols in the surgical setting.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in surgical technology preferred.
- Previous experience as a scrub technician or in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and aseptic techniques.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to patient care.
- Flexible schedule with availability for on-call shifts as needed.
