Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients at all times.
- Document and report changes in clients' health or behavior to the care team.
- Help with meal preparation and nutritional support tailored to clients' needs.
- Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote engagement and well-being.
- Collaborate with family members and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- Valid STNA or HHA certification preferred; experience in home care is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Ability to lift and move clients safely and comfortably.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is advantageous.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
- Flexible availability to accommodate clients' schedules.
- Background check clearance and compliance with health regulations.
