About the Opportunity

Gulf Coast Restoration Holdings LLC (GCR) is a newly formed ServiceMaster Restore franchise launching in July 2026 in the Houston South territory, with the adjacent Houston North territory in acquisition — a combined footprint that would span all of Harris County. This is a greenfield build inside a national brand: well-capitalized, professionally run, and growth-oriented from day one. The owner brings 25 years of energy and finance experience, including nine years as CFO of a private-equity-backed company, and the business is backed by sizable bank financing and owner equity.

The Business Development Manager builds GCR’s referral network and drives the revenue engine from the ground up — developing relationships with insurance adjusters, independent agents, property managers, plumbers, HVAC contractors, and commercial property owners across Harris County. Reporting directly to the owner, this is a field-heavy, relationship-first role. Candidates with an established Houston-area book of business have a structural advantage.

What You’ll Do

•      Build and systematically grow a referral network across target verticals: adjusters, agents, property managers, commercial real estate, and trade partners
•      Execute 60+ targeted outbound calls and contacts per week with a disciplined prospecting cadence
•      Secure new Master Service Agreements with commercial and property management accounts
•      Represent GCR at networking events, adjuster meetings, trade shows, and industry association functions
•      Respond to inbound referral inquiries and coordinate warm handoffs to the operations team
•      Track all leads and activity in the company CRM, updated within 24 hours of every contact
•      Report weekly and monthly on referral activity, pipeline status, and revenue performance
•      Support ServiceMaster QRV (Quality Restoration Vendor) program compliance and carrier-specific protocols

What You Bring

Required
•      Experience as a licensed insurance adjuster or agent with direct property claims exposure, OR business development / sales experience in restoration, construction, or a closely adjacent industry
•      Strong working knowledge of the property claims lifecycle, from FNOL through claim closure
•      Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with insurance professionals and commercial accounts
•      Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident one-on-one and in small groups
•      Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field
•      Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record; high school diploma or equivalent

Preferred
•      Active book of business with Houston-area adjusters, carriers, agents, property managers, or commercial accounts
•      2+ years in restoration, construction, or property damage mitigation; Xactimate / XactAnalysis familiarity
•      CRM experience; IICRC certifications or willingness to obtain; bilingual English/Spanish
