We are a well-established restaurant that has just re-opened our doors after an extensive remodel and are looking for talented, motivated line cooks to join our team. Our kitchen features mostly new equipment in a modern, clean environment. The Bay Bar and Grille will be open daily for lunch and dinner so we'll need day and evening staff. Restaurant experience is preferred but the right candidate can be trained. We have full-time and part-time positions available. All staff are required to work at least one weekend shift and part time employees must work an average of 3 days per week or more.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare menu items correctly and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with all staff members
- Stock, prep, and clean all designated areas by checklists and management
- Assist in reducing and recording waste
- Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
- Follow all local, state, and federal health regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned by the head chef or management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification preferred
- General knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to frequently lift 5-10 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work safely around hazardous equipment and chemicals
