The Role
- Lead, coach, and develop pavement maintenance technicians on every job
- Set the standard for professionalism, safety, and quality on the job site
- Train new crew members on equipment operation, product application, and job execution
- Conduct daily briefings, assign tasks, and ensure crews are set up to execute efficiently
- Oversee field operations from site prep through final walkthrough
- Enforce quality standards
- Conduct or lead job site inspections and sign off on completed work before leaving site
- Identify and resolve field issues in real-time without waiting for direction
- Run the warehouse: organized, clean, stocked, and compliant with safety standards
- Track and manage inventory of sealcoat, crack fill, paint, equipment consumables, and supplies
- Anticipate material needs based on the job schedule and coordinate restocking proactively
- Receive deliveries, verify orders, and maintain accurate inventory records
- Own the maintenance and readiness of all equipment
- Perform and log routine preventive maintenance; identify repair needs early
- Coordinate repairs with vendors when work exceeds in-house capability
- Ensure trailers and vehicles are clean, compliant, and road-ready
- Coordinate daily job logistics including crew assignments, equipment staging, and materials loading
- Communicate schedule changes, site access issues, or job complications to ownership promptly
- Ensure crews arrive on time, prepared, and with everything they need to execute
- Enforce safety protocols on every job site and in the warehouse
- Ensure all crew members use proper PPE and follow safe operating procedures
- Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and EverLine safety policies
- 3–5+ years of experience leading field crews in a trade, construction, landscaping, pavement, or similar hands-on environment
- Demonstrated ability to run a tight operation: organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Strong equipment aptitude — comfortable operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining mechanical equipment
- High standards for quality and zero tolerance for sloppy work
- Reliable, accountable, and proactive
- Clear communicator — can give direction, flag problems, and work with ownership constructively
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record; ability to operate a truck and trailer required
- Physical ability to perform and lead field work in outdoor conditions
- $50,000–$60,000 base salary, commensurate with experience
- Performance bonus tied to operational outcomes
- Full-time W2 salaried position
