About the Role:
Join WOODROME MEDICAL PA as a Front Desk Receptionist, where you'll be the welcoming face of our medical practice in Livingston, TX. This role is essential for ensuring a smooth patient experience and supporting our dedicated healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Manage phone calls, scheduling appointments, and patient inquiries efficiently.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
- Process patient check-ins and check-outs, including insurance verification.
- Coordinate with medical staff to streamline office operations and enhance patient care.
- Handle billing inquiries and assist with payment processing.
- Keep the reception area organized and welcoming for patients and visitors.
- Support administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
- Proficient in using office equipment and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and a passion for helping others in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is advantageous.
