ABOUT OUR AGENCY
I opened my agency in 2024 after previously working as a State Farm team member, where I was proud to be the number one team member in the entire territory. Before that, I worked as a CSR, and those experiences helped shape the culture and leadership style I bring into the office today. Our team of three is built around positivity, growth, and supporting one another both professionally and personally.

My wife and 18 month old daughter are my biggest motivation, and family is at the center of everything I do. We also have a dog that keeps life fun outside the office. Our team stays active in the community through church involvement, volunteering, and youth group activities.

We offer an Aspirant program, continuing education, professional development, team building events, office lunches, birthday celebrations, frequent earning opportunities, and flexibility for important family events. I’m looking for someone driven, hardworking, goal oriented, and motivated who wants to be part of a strong team culture built around growth, sports, music, and success.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a dependable, positive, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our growing insurance agency. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, takes ownership of customer needs, and can balance day-to-day service responsibilities with opportunities to strengthen customer relationships.

You will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, assisting with billing, policy changes, claims follow-up, and other service needs. We're also looking for someone who is comfortable identifying opportunities during customer conversations to discuss additional insurance needs, including life insurance.

Our office values teamwork, positivity, accountability, and coachability. We want someone who will contribute to a workplace where people work hard, support one another, and genuinely enjoy being part of the team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as a first point of contact for incoming calls and messages, assisting customers whenever possible before routing them to another team member.
  • Assist with billing questions, vehicle additions and changes, policy service requests, and other customer needs.
  • Monitor claims and follow up with customers throughout the claims process to ensure they feel supported.
  • Complete regular customer outreach, including retention calls/texts and scheduling policy review appointments.
  • Identify opportunities during service conversations to discuss life insurance, additional coverage needs, referrals, and other agency products.
  • Monitor customer communication channels and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Support agency marketing efforts, including approximately four social media posts per month and occasional community or referral marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and complete required follow-up according to agency processes and compliance standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Property & Casualty insurance licenses for the state of Tennessee must be obtained prior to starting. The agency will pay for study materials and the first testing attempt.
  • Life & Health licensing is strongly preferred prior to starting; however, candidates may have up to their first month of employment to obtain these licenses.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable discussing insurance needs, asking questions, and transitioning service conversations into appropriate sales opportunities.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to contribute to a strong office culture.
  • Highly coachable and receptive to feedback, training, and continued development.
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple customer needs and follow-up responsibilities.
  • Commitment to following all agency procedures, insurance regulations, and compliance requirements.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
We believe skills can be developed, but attitude and coachability matter from day one. The right person will be someone who takes initiative, wants to learn, supports their teammates, and approaches customers with a helpful and solutions-focused mindset.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys customer service but also wants to grow their insurance knowledge, strengthen their sales skills, and become a well-rounded member of an insurance agency team.
Compensation: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
