Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring proper handling and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
