Job Description:
We are looking for a Runner with experience in purchasing and courier management to join our team in Puerto Rico. This position is crucial to provide operational and administrative support by managing errands, delivery and collection of documents, materials and equipment, as well as any other logistical management necessary to support the continuity of engineering and construction projects. This position requires a An organized, responsible, proactive person with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and must know and properly use security equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform due diligence related to projects, government offices, suppliers and customers.
  • Deliver and collect documents, contracts, permits, blueprints, and other important documents.
  • Transport materials, tools, and equipment between offices, warehouses, and projects.
  • Support in the coordination and distribution of supplies for projects and offices
  • Manage administrative procedures before government agencies, banks, post offices and other entities.
  • Make bank deposits, payments, and check pickup as required.
  • Support in the organization, filing and distribution of documentation.
  • Follow up on assigned procedures and report their status in a timely manner
  • Coordinate urgent deliveries for construction projects.
  • Support supervisors and project managers with specific operational needs.
  • Verify that the deliveries made have the required documentation.
  • Keep the assigned vehicles and equipment in good condition.

Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driver's record. Desirable (not essential) heavy category.
  • Handling of carts or towing (not essential).
  • Minimum experience of 3 years in purchasing and courier management.
  • 10-hour OSHA safety training is desirable (not essential).
  • Basic knowledge of routes, directions, and GPS navigation.
  • Good time management and sense of urgency.
  • Basic verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and mobile applications.
  • Physical ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and use ladders.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
  • Availability to constantly interact with suppliers, employees and subcontractors.
What We Offer :
💰 Salary: $12 - $15 per hour based on demonstrable experience

Compensation: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
