Join the Paul Davis Ottawa & Lanark Team – Crew Chief
Location: Ottawa, ON
- Lead emergency restoration crews and coordinate day-to-day job-site activities.
- Respond to water, fire, mold, and other emergency losses.
- Serve as a key point of contact for customers throughout the mitigation process.
- Train, mentor, and support technicians and crew members.
- Ensure work meets company, industry, safety, and IICRC standards.
- Complete equipment setup, monitoring, debris removal, site preparation, and other hands-on mitigation work.
- Maintain equipment, vehicles, inventory, and job-site cleanliness.
- Document work accurately and communicate job progress to management.
- Help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and with an exceptional customer experience.
- 2–3+ years of restoration/mitigation experience.
- Minimum 2 IICRC certifications or equivalent industry experience with a willingness to obtain additional certifications.
- Previous leadership or crew-management experience.
- Strong knowledge of restoration equipment, drying processes, and emergency mitigation.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and remain calm in fast-paced emergency situations.
- Valid Ontario G-Class Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- Flexibility to participate in on-call and emergency response rotations.
