About the Role:
Victoria Strochkova is looking for a passionate and skilled Violin Teacher to join our music studio in San Ramon, CA. This is a wonderful opportunity to inspire students of all ages and skill levels while sharing your love of music in a supportive, creative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging one-on-one or group violin lessons for students of varying ages and skill levels
- Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student's goals and learning pace
- Teach proper violin technique, music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills
- Track and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and music examinations
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student development
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and structured learning environment
Requirements:
- Proficiency in violin performance with formal training or equivalent experience
- Prior teaching experience with children, teens, or adult learners preferred
- Strong knowledge of music theory, classical repertoire, and various teaching methodologies (e.g., Suzuki, traditional)
- Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students at all levels
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- Bachelor's degree in Music or related field is a plus
