Avant Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide in-home care for a client in Stone Mountain, GA.
Schedule:
- Saturday & Sunday
- 5-hour shifts / 10:00am - 3:00pm
- Consistent weekly schedule
Responsibilities
As a Personal Care Aide, you will help our client remain safe and independent in their home by providing assistance with:
- Personal hygiene, bathing, and dressing
- Mobility and transfers
- Meal and snack preparation
- Light housekeeping
- Self-administered medication reminders
- Companionship and emotional support
- Errands and grocery shopping
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Personal Care Aide, Home Health Aide, or similar role preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of basic housekeeping and meal preparation
- Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely
- Compassionate, dependable, respectful, and ethical
- Ability to pass a background check and meet hiring requirements
