Role Purpose
Own the end‑to‑end import‑entry cycle for ocean and air shipments, guaranteeing absolute compliance and entry clearance at least 5 days prior to arrival, while delivering high‑touch, dedicated service—and daily data insights—to a select client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
| Area | Core Duties | Entry Compliance & Documentation | Process ISF and entries; verify HTS classification and PGA data; audit files and duty payments; ensure 100 % adherence to CBP and PGA regulations.
| Transportation Coordination | Arrange drayage, inland moves, and final‑mile deliveries; track milestones; resolve holds to meet or beat our 5‑day‑pre‑arrival clearance goal.
| Client Service & Communication | Serve as primary liaison among overseas agents, clients, carriers, and government agencies; provide proactive status updates and boutique consultative support.
| Data Integrity, Analytics & Continuous Improvement | Maintain accurate records in Magaya Supply Chain; produce customer‑specific daily analytics reports (KPI dashboards, landed‑cost summaries, exception logs) using Magaya, Excel, and BI tools; identify process gaps and recommend fixes through collaborative “group think.”

Qualifications
- Preferred: Licensed Customs Broker (LCB)or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Minimum of 8 years’ ocean & air import‑entry experience.
- Hands‑on expertise with Magaya Supply Chain and AceLynk/Magaya Customs Compliance (or similar)
- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver customer‑specific daily data‑analytics reports (pivot tables, Power BI, SQL queries, or equivalent).
- Mastery of tariff classification, PGA rules.
- Drawback experience would be preferred but is not a requirement.
- Proven record of clearing time‑sensitive cargo for demanding clients.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication; thrives in collaborative, on‑site environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to pivot in a frequently changing tariff landscape (with guidance provided)
