About the Role:
Havenova Home Care Solutions is looking for a warm, nurturing, and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to join our team in Killingworth, CT! Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, hands-on childcare in a safe and nurturing home environment
- Assist with daily routines including meals, nap times, and bedtime schedules
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, play, and educational exercises
- Transport children to and from school, activities, or appointments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children in care
- Communicate regularly and openly with parents regarding the child's day and well-being
- Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies or unexpected situations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or nannying strongly preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with strong references
- Patient, compassionate, and genuinely passionate about working with children
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong communication skills with both children and parents
