About the Role:
We are looking for a talented and driven Build Engineer to join our team in Florham Park, NJ! In this role, you'll play a critical part in designing, maintaining, and optimizing our build and release processes to help deliver high-quality software efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain build systems, pipelines, and automation frameworks
- Manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient software delivery
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline build and release processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve build failures, environment issues, and dependency conflicts
- Monitor build performance and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement
- Maintain version control systems and enforce branching and merging strategies
- Document build processes, tools, and configurations for team reference
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Build Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or equivalent
- Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, or Ant
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams
