Senior Helpers of Northeast Wisconsin is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced Home Care Caregivers to provide personalized one-on-one support for clients living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia throughout the Appleton area.
We're looking for caregivers who understand the unique challenges of dementia care and can provide patience, reassurance, consistency, and compassionate support. Caring for someone with dementia involves more than assisting with daily tasks—it means creating a safe, structured, and comforting environment that helps clients maintain their independence and quality of life.

What You'll Do
As an Experienced Home Care Caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, one-on-one dementia care that promotes safety, dignity, comfort, and independence.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide personalized care for individuals living with Dementia or Alzheimer's disease
- Assist with personal care, activities of daily living, meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
- Offer companionship and meaningful engagement that supports cognitive stimulation and emotional well-being
- Provide calm reassurance and redirection during periods of confusion or memory loss
- Help establish and maintain consistent daily routines that promote safety and independence
- Observe changes in the client's condition and communicate updates with the care team
- Build meaningful, trusting relationships with clients and their families
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous experience caring for individuals living with Dementia or Alzheimer's disease is strongly preferred
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license required
- Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
- Ability to pass a background check and provide professional references
