The Anderson School of Music is looking for a part-time piano teacher for several days per week; weekday and weekend shifts available. We are looking for one or more people to join our school. Availability to teach other instruments and sub on other days is a plus. This is a long-term position. We are looking for a minimum commitment of the 2026-2027 school year. Students range in age from 5 to , though that may change as your schedule grows.
Our ideal candidate is a piano teacher who can effectively communicate musicianship and technique to their students in a relatable, easy to understand way.

All lessons are taught in person at our well-equipped Los Gatos location. Punctuality, attendance and consistency are extremely important to our students. Starting pay for a teacher with a music degree or equivalent experience is $42 per hour with a potential raise after a 30-day assessment period.
