At Nothing Bundt Cakes, we bring joy to our guests through delicious cakes and exceptional service. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Assistant Manager to help lead our bakery team, support daily operations, and create a positive experience for both guests and employees.
As a Senior Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the Bakery Operator and management team to ensure operational excellence, drive sales growth, maintain quality standards, and foster a fun and engaging workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the bakery's daily operations.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve performance goals.
- Help recruit, train, schedule, and retain bakery staff.
- Ensure outstanding guest service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Monitor inventory levels, ordering, and product quality.
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and compliance with company standards.
- Support sales initiatives, local marketing efforts, and community engagement activities.
- Assist with labor management, productivity goals, and operational efficiency.
- Serve as the Manager on Duty when needed and provide leadership during all shifts.
Qualifications
- Previous management or supervisory experience in retail, food service, hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Basic computer and administrative skills.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed.
