About the Role:
Right at Home Des Moines is looking for a compassionate and dedicated HHA or CNA to join our team for weekend shifts (Friday–Sunday) with flexible 4–10 hour shifts available. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of clients in the West Des Moines area while enjoying a schedule that works for you. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation for clients
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote client well-being
- Assist with medication reminders as directed by the care plan
- Document care activities accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Current HHA (Home Health Aide) or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification in Iowa
- Availability to work weekends: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or a clinical setting preferred
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in the West Des Moines area
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
