About the Role:
Right at Home Des Moines is looking for compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides (HHA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team in West Des Moines, IA! We have exciting weekend availability with Friday through Sunday 10-hour shifts — perfect for those seeking a consistent schedule with meaningful work. Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support
- Assist clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and comfort
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry, cleaning, and tidying living spaces
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and their families
- Assist with medication reminders and follow individualized care plans
Requirements:
- Current HHA or CNA certification in the state of Iowa
- Prior experience in home care, assisted living, or a clinical setting preferred
- Availability to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on 10-hour shifts
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient demeanor
- Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans
- Must pass background check and meet all state compliance requirements

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
