Position Summary:
As an Ophthalmic Technician, you will work closely with our optometrists to deliver exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys working in a patient-focused environment. Prior experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and prepare patients for exams in a professional and friendly manner
- Accurately record patient histories, medications, and visual complaints
- Perform pre-testing and diagnostic procedures (e.g., auto-refraction, tonometry, OCT, visual fields, retinal imaging)
- Assist the doctor with patient flow and clinical documentation
- Educate patients on contact lens care and eyewear options
- Maintain exam rooms and equipment in clean and working condition
- Ensure accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an ophthalmic or optometric technician is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Computer proficiency; experience with EHR systems is a plus
- A team-player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
