- Perform construction and reconstruction work according to project scope and company standards.
- Complete rough and finish carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, trim, and general repairs.
- Assist with demolition, framing, repairs, and finishing work as needed.
- Identify and complete punch list items to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist with project scheduling and daily job progress.
- Pick up, transport, and organize materials and supplies.
- Coordinate material deliveries when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.
- Document daily progress, job notes, photos, and required documentation using the ManageIT Mobile App.
- Communicate effectively with Project Managers, Construction Coordinators, subcontractors, and customers.
- Assist with subcontractor coordination and quality control inspections.
- Ensure all work complies with company standards, project specifications, and local building codes.
- Identify work outside the original scope and communicate it promptly.
- Participate in final walkthroughs and assist with project closeout documentation.
- Secure customer completion and satisfaction signatures when requested.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every phase of the project.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous construction, remodeling, restoration, or skilled trades experience preferred.
- Experience with hand and power tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform physically demanding work.
- Comfortable working on ladders and in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
