What You’ll Do
As a dementia care specialist, your focus will be on creating a safe, engaging, and structured environment for clients navigating cognitive decline.

Memory Care & Companionship: Provide specialized, friendly companionship using dementia-care techniques to manage anxiety and behavioral changes.

Daily Routines: Establish and maintain comforting daily routines to minimize confusion and maximize the client's sense of security.

Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and transfers, always prioritizing their dignity and privacy.

Health Monitoring: Monitor food and fluid intake, provide medication reminders, and promptly report changes in a client's physical or cognitive condition.

Physical Support: Assist with safe mobility, walking, range of motion exercises, fall prevention, and prescribed therapy exercises.

Home Management: Prepare nutritious meals, perform light housekeeping, run errands, and ensure the home remains a safe environment.

Accurate Documentation: Follow infection control protocols and complete timely, accurate care notes using our easy to use mobile app
REQUIREMENTS:
- Because of the specialized nature of this role, a minimum of 2 years of experience directly caring for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's is a strict requirement.
- Valid Driver's License and Social Security Card.
- Active CNA license for CNAs (state‑specific) or PCA Test Results for PCAs (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Recent negative TB test result
- Reliable transportation and the ability to lift/transfer clients safely.
- Basic computer/app skills for daily charting and communication.
- Empathy, professionalism, and a strict commitment to protecting client dignity and privacy.
