High-Level Overview
- Accounting experience is highly preferred
- Responsibilities may include cleaning up accounts and tracking transactions
- Strong understanding of accounting principles is important
- Familiarity with assets, P\&L, and balance sheets
- Ability to research discrepancies and follow data trails with strong intuition
- Accounting degree required; CPA preferred
- Flexible on type of experience
- Targeting candidates with approximately 3–4 years of experience
Roles and responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, etc. Monitors and develops monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects. Provides a record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions. Reviews, tracks, and maintains asset information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations.

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA and/or Master's Level degree preferred
- 3-4 years of relevant experience in General Accounting; Capital and Fixed Asset experience preferred
Flexible work from home options available.
Compensation: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
